Enlighten me Nez,
What’s a haiku? It sounds like a word my Finnish gramma used to say.

A Haiku is a Japanese form of poetry — three lines: 5 syllables, 7 syllables, 5 syllables.
Usually, they’re about seasons and zen-like observations.
I think.

Hi Nez - I love Haiku, though I’m not particularly good at writing it myself. The pic is great too.

Hi Nez. With the title of #1, it looks like we have a series of haikus to look forward to.
@Barbara - A haiku is usually a snapshot of a moment in nature. It’s fun seeing the format applied to blogging.

@Hunter: Thanks for the contribution!
@Cath: We’ll see how good (or bad) I get as we move along — it does take some thought.
@Sterling: That’s the plan.
