Barbara’s comment on my Frame of Mind post reminded me of one of my philosophies of life:
- No Matter How Rich You Become, Someone Will Always Be Richer (unless your name is Bill Gates) - So, live your life without hurting others (and without whining), and maybe help those that are truly in need.
And here’s the corollary:
- No Matter How Poor You Become, Someone Out There Has It Worse - Everyone is entitled to some bad luck now and then, but it’s not the end of the world. Pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and start all over again (great tune, btw).
What do you think?

Everything you said it’s true.
But still when a person is down he doesn’t usually think how shit many others live, he thinks his case is the worse. Not everybody has a motivation and courage to get up and start all over again. I personally don’t know how is that possible, but looking at the homeless I know that it is possible.

Hi Nez - these are great points. People spend far so much time whinging about what they don’t have. If only they would stop to think about all the things they do have.

And one more thing–no matter how things are for you, millions of people are in the same boat.

Hi Nez,
I’m so happy to hear I inspired you. This is a great short, to the point post. Good job.

Hi again,
Off subject, but I am checking out your new plugin for editing comments……pretty cool. I may have to add that one.
I also tried it out, and made a small word change. It was slightly confusing at first, but then I figured it out.

@ Kota: Hi, thank you for commenting. I really wanted to keep this post short, but I should have mentioned more that that is how I usually get myself out of any financial “funk”.
@ Catherine: It’s true. We have so much stuff available these days, but we’re always bombarded with media telling us we need more!
@ Hunter: That’s also true. With over 6 billion people on this planet, you’d figure you wouldn’t be the only person to _________ (fill in the blank).
@ Barbara: I’ve been posting about 6 times a week, and I’m feeling the burn, if you know what I mean. So I want to start pacing myself.
