Proverbs 4:23 (New International Version–NIV) : “ABOVE ALL ELSE KEEP YOUR HEART FOR IT IS THE WELLSPRING OF LIFE.” In scripture, the heart refers to the center of our being–our innermost part–which in 21st century speech would be the “mind”.

@ Barbara: Thanks for the kind words.

@ Hunter: At one point, I had “It the reason why The Bourne Identity fascinated me” but I figured that would have given it away too easily.

@ Catherine: Poetry was never my strong suit — I detested it in high school, never knowing how other students always came up with cool analysis (this was when Internet meant signing onto a BBS — so no way kids could have snarfed up an answer from the web).

I can dig rhymes and haikus — that’s about it. But, who knows? We’ll see as the blogging continues…
